Welsh Friends x
Recently we travelled from Manchester and visited our friends in Cardiff, they surprised us with tickets to the rugby, Wales v Australia, we had beer lots of laughs and a nice meal and more laughs and chat. We stayed at their house and in the morning took a trip to the Bay for breakfast.
It was on the journey home, reflecting on the weekend that I started thinking just how lucky we are to have such wonderful friends.
It’s funny how and where you make friends. How you don’t even have to speak with them every single day to know they are there and you can call on them whenever you need and they can you. This is a very precious and special thing.
I have felt sad in the past when I have lost a friend through a misunderstanding or an argument of some sort but then later realised that actually there is not much you can do about this if the other party has also given up – and were they actually a really good friend anyway? Probably not, thinking about a few cases right now. You do get to a certain age when you recognise this to be true and don’t sweat it and move on.
I would just like to say to pronounce that I love you, my friends, and will cherish our friendship always. You all know who you are x

April is going to be a good month; I can feel it in my water! Managed to survive the early part of April 1st without an April fool prank, which is odd since I have two teenage sons! This is also the month I change jobs, I definitely feel this is a good thing and the right thing to do although I am taking a bit of a risk - hey if you can’t take a risk once in a while then what is it all about?

So you might have guessed things are not going to plan!
That’s the thing when you make sweeping statements with good intentions - recipe for failure! I had fully intended to take up the challenge I had set myself but life being life got right in the way and I started running. Addictive! The running was going brilliantly and I was really looking forward to achieving a good time in the Wilmslow half. But what happened next…….. I fractured my ankle and am now laid up for a few weeks before I can get back to it ready for 25th March 2012.
Any who I will complete my challenge but I am going to be realistic. Realistic about everything actually as being UNREALISTIC gets you nowhere fast.
